WILDLIFE IN THE CITY!

I spotted several rabbits in our garden, the other day!  I politely asked them to NOT eat our veggies!

Lots of baby geese along the Muddy River!  Just watch out for their parents' poop!  :)

HALLS POND.  Close enough to walk to from work ( .72 mi.), but there's parking next to Amory Park if you drive.

Sit in the lovely garden area to eat lunch or just relax;   or stroll along the boardwalk that circles the pond.  Look closely  When you walk around the pond, you might see a heron!

Fun things to see OUTSIDE a short walk away!

You have 30-60 minutes for lunch, it's beautiful out - what to do?

The most obvious place to visit is our own back, or rather inner court-yard - our wonderful organic garden, tended by Leora!

But, if you're up for a longer walk than that, check out this outdoor exhibit along the Brookline side of the Muddy River:

Through the Trees,” an outdoor exhibition of temporary art by sculptors of Studios Without Walls at Riverway Park along Brookline’s Muddy River, will be held from April 27-May 19 during daylight hours.

All that walking and nature got you hungry?  Restaurant Row on Peterborough St. in the Fenway  is coming back to life, with wonderful newcomer,  Neighborhoods Cafe, a crepe/coffee shop, open all day!  And, they have outdoor seating!
